I can see how this idea could work really well but i'm not sure if its possible for a stamp collection because its so small, the idea is to use each stamp as a decade, with the shoe that most represents it made up of key facts of those ten years.
this image was the 60's most famous for the world cup win, the shoe is made up of a tower block which became huge within this decade, think i could be really overcomplicating this idea, sure there must be a way to simplify it...
